SEDA opens registration for Spring Symposium

STUART, Fla. — The symposium is scheduled for June 8-11 in Captiva Island, Fla.

STUART, Fla. — The Southeast Desalting Association (SEDA) has opened registration for its Spring Symposium, scheduled for June 2014, according to an article by The International Desalination and Water Reuse Quarterly.

The symposium will be held at the South Seas Island Resort in Captiva Island, Fla. from June 8-11 this year, noted the article.

Attendees will include desalination and water treatment membrane plant operators, managers and experts, the release reported.

According to the release, the attendees will learn about the latest in regulations, membrane technology applications and operations/maintenance for water and wastewater treatment systems through small group hands-on sessions and a tour of the Island Water Association Water Treatment Plant.

A welcome reception will take place on June 8, followed by technical sessions on June 9 and a tour and more technical sessions on June 10.
