WateReuse releases white paper on EPA’s Water Infrastructure and Resiliency Finance Center

ALEXANDRIA, Va. — WateReuse’s white paper cites important research on potable reuse’s economic viability and discusses ways to encourage private investment in water reuse.

ALEXANDRIA, Va. — WateReuse recently released a new white paper providing recommendations for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) new Water Infrastructure and Resiliency Finance Center, according to a press release.

The center will serve as a resource to communities to improve drinking water, wastewater and stormwater systems, “particularly through innovative financing and increased resiliency to climate change,” stated the release.

WateReuse’s white paper, reported the release, cites important research on potable reuse’s economic viability and discusses ways to encourage private investment in water reuse.

The white paper also recommends that the Water Infrastructure and Resiliency Finance Center should support public-private partnerships, connect existing funding sources, leverage outside resources and identify innovative financing programs, noted the release.
