RICHMOND, VA, Feb. 11, 2005 -- Infilco Degremont Inc. (IDI) has received a purchase order to supply two hot windbox fluid incineration systems to the R.L. Sutton Water Reclamation Facility in Cobb County, Georgia. Each of the two systems will include an Infilco Degremont Thermylis® hot windbox fluid bed incinerator, heat exchanger, venturi scrubber, and cooling tray scrubber.

Cobb County officials had sought a long-range sludge management plan. Incorporating composting and incineration, the R.L. Sutton solids handling plant will operate 24 hours per day. "The careful design of heat exchanger and hot windbox will allow the county's sludge to be incinerated with minimum fuel usage, low emissions, and conservative operating costs," said Ilan Wilf, Infilco Degremont's vice president of municipal sales and marketing.

Since its first HTFB installation in 1985, Infilco Degremont has provided 25 fluid bed incineration systems in North America, more than any other supplier. Its installation in Cincinnati, Ohio, contains the largest hot windbox currently operating in the United States. Three new Thermylis HTFB incineration projects are slated for completion in 2005: Ypsilanti, Mich.; Puerto Nuevo, Puerto Rico; and the Lakeview Plant in Region of Peel, Ontario, Canada.

Infilco Degremont (www.infilcodegremont.com) is part of the worldwide Degremont group. Degremont employs over 3,200 people in over 70 countries and is part of SUEZ Environment, the premier environmental specialist in advanced water and waste services.
