BIRMINGHAM – Maria Woodie is the new Assistant Editor for Water Technology.

BIRMINGHAM – Water Technology is pleased to welcome Maria Woodie as a new addition to its editorial staff.

As the publication’s new assistant editor, Maria will play an important role in researching news and articles for WaterTech e-News Daily, Water Technology magazine and the industry-leading website WaterTechOnline.com.

A graduate of the University of Cincinnati, majoring in Journalism with an emphasis on magazine writing, Maria has writing and editing experience in print and online media, including an internship with Horticulture magazine.

According to Water Technology’s Editorial Director Rich DiPaolo, Maria is a perfect addition to the team because of her experience, attention to detail and ability to learn the market through research and relationship building skills.

“Maria Woodie’s background in Journalism as well as traditional print and digital media made her the ideal choice for this position,” said DiPaolo. “In just a short period of time, Maria has already impressed us with her close eye for the details, can-do work ethic and upbeat personality. She is a great addition to the team and we are looking forward to seeing what she can accomplish in this position.”
