Water Technology speaks with Jim Thebaut on international water crisis

LATHAM, N.Y. — Thebaut, who has made a number of documentaries on the diminishing water supply, recently organized a forum on the water crisis in Southern California.

LATHAM, N.Y. — Jim Thebaut is president and CEO of The Chronicles Group, a nonprofit formed to educate the public through media about issues that affect the survival of the planet.

Thebaut has produced a number of documentaries throughout his life on the international water crisis.

Recently, he produced "Running Dry: The Documentary," "The American Southwest: Are We Running Dry?" and "Running Dry: Beyond the Brink."

In November 2013, a forum organized by Thebaut and The Chronicles Group called "Are We Running Dry?" took place in Los Angeles to explore the water crisis in Southern California.

Water Technology caught up with Thebaut before the forum to discuss why he is so committed to raising awareness about the international water crisis, what his goals are for the California forum and which upcoming educational events and projects to look out for.
