ALEXANDRIA, Va. — The WateReuse Association announced the release of a new white paper, “Financing Industrial Water Reuse with the Clean Water State Revolving Fund,” according to a press release.
The newly released white paper explains the changes in eligibility for the Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF), the pros and cons of the CWSRF and the steps to take to apply for funding, stated the release.
The 2014 Water Resources Reform and Development Act (WRRDA), signed into law on June 10, 2014, aims to help modernize U.S. water infrastructure, continued the release.
The release reported that the WRRDA went into effect on Oct. 1, allowing private sector companies to obtain CWSRF loans to construct onsite industrial water reuse projects for the first time.
