WateReuse Association thanks its volunteers during National Volunteer Week

ALEXANDRIA, Va. — National Volunteer Week is April 6-12 and WaterReuse released a video message of thanks.

ALEXANDRIA, Va. — National Volunteer Week is April 6-12 and WateReuse Association staff recently recorded a message to thank the many volunteers that help make WateReuse a success, according to a press release.

The dedicated individuals that volunteer on boards and committees at the local, state, national and international levels have been instrumental in making WateReuse an industry leader, noted the release.

New Executive Director Melissa L. Meeker spoke throughout the video, thanking volunteers for their work on every level of the association.

"Thank you for helping us to develop innovative conference programs, for sharing your knowledge with your peers and for making every event at WateReuse a success," said a WaterReuse staff member in the video.

According to the website, the WateReuse Association is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to advance the beneficial and efficient uses of high-quality, locally produced, sustainable water sources for the betterment of society and the environment through advocacy, education and outreach, research and membership.
