ALEXANDRIA, Va. — Gilbert Trejo, PE, chief technical officer for El Paso Water Utilities, and Halla Razak, public utilities director for the city of San Diego, will serve on the board of directors for both the WateReuse Association and the WateReuse Research Foundation.

ALEXANDRIA, Va. — WateReuse announced the appointment of two new members to serve on the board of directors, according to a press release.

Gilbert Trejo, PE, chief technical officer for El Paso Water Utilities, and Halla Razak, public utilities director for the city of San Diego, have started their service effective in May, stated the release.

Trejo and Razak will serve on the board of directors for both the WateReuse Research Foundation and the WateReuse Association, continued the release.

“These two new directors bring the knowledge, leadership skills, and passion we need to continue to support our membership in providing a safe and sustainable water supply to communities everywhere,” said WateReuse Association President Robert Johnson of McManus and Johnson Consulting.

Trejo and Razak are the first new members appointed to the WateReuse boards since the adoption of a leadership merger plan in February, noted the release, in which directors will simultaneously serve on the WateReuse Research Foundation and the WateReuse Association boards to maximize strategic collaboration.
