JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Some of the chemicals the website found include arsenic and lead.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A study by the website 24/7 Wall Street claims there are 23 toxic chemicals in the water supply in Jacksonville, Fla., according to WTEC 47 News.

Joan Stringfellow, who has lived in Jacksonville nearly 30 years, said some mornings she can detect a large amount of chlorine.

Some of the chemicals the website found include arsenic and lead.

"I certainly am concerned about it. I've seen JEA's reports and I've always relied on them to be accurate," Stringfellow said.

JEA representatives say the study is unvalidated and wrong.

"I want to ensure to all our customers that the water is safe," spokeswoman Gerri Boyce said.
