ALEXANDRIA, Va. — The WateReuse Research Foundation’s Research Advisory Committee (RAC) recently welcomed two new experts, according to a press release.

The RAC is appointed by the Board of Directors to develop the solicited research agenda for the Foundation, noted the release.

Phillip Rolchigo, Ph.D., vice president, water technology, Pentair Inc. and Andrew Salveson, P.E., vice president, Carollo Engineers were appointed to the RAC effective Jan. 1, the release reported.

Prior to joining Pentair, continued the release, Dr. Rolchigo held a number of leadership roles in the industry, including serving as the global separation technologies director for General Electric, Water and Process Technologies and as the chief technology officer for Osmonics Inc.

According to the release, Salveson brings 20 years of consulting engineering experience, is Carollo’s water reuse chief technologist and disinfection principal technologist and is currently leading or assisting in numerous WRRF research projects.
