WWIF-FWQA 2014 Golf Tournament set for March 18

DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. — All proceeds from the tournament, taking place during the WQA Aquatech show, will go to WWIF and FWQA.

DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. — The Wishing Well International Foundation (WWIF) and the Florida Water Quality Association (FWQA) 2014 Golf Tournament is set for March 18 in Orlando during the annual WQA Aquatech show, according to a press release.

The tournament, sponsored by Filtrex Advanced Carbon Solutions and HaloSource Inc., will take place at the Shingle Creek Golf Club, with an 8 a.m. sign up and tee off at 8:30 a.m., the release noted.

The Shingle Creek Golf Club has been listed as one of the top new courses in the country by Golfweek Magazine since opening in 2003, reported the release.

The fee to play is $275, and there will be awards for tournament winners, Longest Drive, Longest Putt and a Hole-in-One award, among others, the release continued.

According to the release, 100 percent of the tournament proceeds will benefit the WWIF and FWQA.
