The fishing fleet left San Diego on October 12 and headed into Mexican waters looking for their catch. Seas were a bit rough, but once at sea, there was no turning back.

Few slept the first night due to the rough seas so most of the anglers were up at the crack of dawn, ready for a packed day of fishing.

Fish was plentiful and the group was able to catch its limit of Pacific yellow tail, with a few Mahi Mahi, black fin tuna as well as yellow fin.

With matching funds from Florida-based Platinum sponsor Cyriacks Environmental Consulting Services (CECOS), the Foundation is able to commit the funds to complete its Ghana project, stated the release.
