RYE BROOK, N.Y. — Sept. 15, 2015 — Xylem Inc. announced two current employees will assume new executive positions effective Oct. 1, according to a press release.

Colin Sabol will move from senior vice president and president of dewatering to the role of senior vice president and president of analytics and treatment, noted the release. He will lead the divisions’ global operations.

Sabol will continue to serve on Xylem’s senior leadership team, stated the release. He replaces Chris McIntire, who will remain with the company through September before leaving Xylem for a position with another company.

David Flinton was promoted to succeed Sabol in the role of senior vice president and president of dewatering, reported the release. Flinton currently serves as vice president of marketing and engineering for Xylem’s Applied Water Systems division. In addition, Flinton will serve on the company’s senior leadership team.

“At Xylem, we are fortunate to have strong business leaders that bring to bear insightful strategic viewpoints along with the sharp executional skills required to operate in today’s global market,” said Xylem CEO Patrick Decker in the release.

“Colin has been an outstanding leader of our dewatering business, capitalizing on opportunities to expand our global presence while also streamlining operations to drive productivity in challenging market conditions,” Decker added the release. “Dave, over nearly two decades with the company, has been a consistent driver of solutions that focus on our customers’ current and emerging needs, accelerating innovation and expanding our revenue opportunities. Both of these executives will play key roles in helping us advance Xylem’s strategic priorities.”
