WHO seeks consultants for Typhoon Yolanda aid

GENEVA, Switzerland — The World Health Organization seeks consultants to aid with needs surrounding Typhoon Yolanda in the Philippines.

GENEVA, Switzerland — The World Health Organization is leading Global Health Cluster (GHC) efforts to respond to massive drinking-water and sanitation issues surrounding Typhoon Yolanda in the Philippines.

WHO is seeking consultants to be deployed within the coming weeks for a minimum of three weeks and possibly as long as six months, for the following needs: WASH in health care facilities (and implementation of minimum WHO standards); water quality testing and treatment; and household water treatment and hygiene.
