GENEVA, Switzerland — The World Health Organization is leading Global Health Cluster (GHC) efforts to respond to massive drinking-water and sanitation issues surrounding Typhoon Yolanda in the Philippines.
WHO is seeking consultants to be deployed within the coming weeks for a minimum of three weeks and possibly as long as six months, for the following needs: WASH in health care facilities (and implementation of minimum WHO standards); water quality testing and treatment; and household water treatment and hygiene.
If interested, send a resume and brief letter outlining your experience in WASH in emergencies as well as your familiarity with WHO guidelines and recommendations to Maggie Montgomery at [email protected].
