Endress+Hauser breaks ground at Gulf Coast site 

Endress+Hauser invested $38.5 million into a new 112,000-square-foot Gulf Coast Regional Center Campus. The new site is in Pearland’s lower Kirby District, just outside the Houston area. The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2020. The new campus will offer areas for calibration, repair and training, and it will include a Process Training Unit (PTU). The facility will house teams to support Endress+Hauser’s products, solutions and services for process automation, SpectraSensors’ gas analysis systems for the U.S. and international customers and Analytik Jena’s product lines for laboratory instrumentation. The campus will include a building and warehouse location for Endress+Hauser’s partner for sales and service in the Gulf region, Vector Controls and Automation Group.

Evoqua appoints executive vice president and leader for APT segment

Evoqua Water Technologies appointed Hervé Fages as an executive vice president at the company and appointed him as president of the organization’s Applied Product Technologies (APT) segment. Evoqua’s APT segment encompasses a portfolio of industrial, commercial and municipal products sold primarily through third-party channels. As president of APT, Fages will have overall leadership of the segment, including product development, channel expansion and sales. Prior to joining Evoqua, Fages was president of Connected Building and Building Management Systems at Honeywell. He also held senior executive positions at leading global corporations including Schneider Electric, Tyco and Sensormatic.

HDR names manager for Michigan program

HDR named James Scholl, P.E., BCEE, D.WRE, as program lead/manager of its water program in Michigan, based in Ann Arbor. Scholl is responsible for client and business development activities and management of water, wastewater, stormwater and water resources projects and infrastructure master planning and delivery. Prior to joining HDR, Scholl gained experience with Michigan-based and national consulting firms, including most recently Hubbell, Roth & Clark, working with municipal, industrial and government agency clients.
