Exterran Corporation secures produced water treatment contract

Exterran Corporation, a global systems and process company that offers solutions in the oil and gas, water and power markets, announced that its Water Solutions business secured a produced water treatment contract with an operator in the Midland area of the Permian Basin. The 30,000 barrels of water-per-day (bwpd) treatment system includes the removal of oil in water, suspended solids and iron. Offered as a turnkey package, the provided solution also includes accessories, manpower and remote monitoring and reporting of water treatment data. The contract follows a successful three-month pilot in late 2018, where Exterran met or exceeded oil in water, suspended solids and iron outlet performance levels.

Buckeye Valve rebrands as JMC Technical Sales

Buckeye Valve, a Pittsburgh-based industrial water and wastewater manufacturer’s representative, reseller and distributor, has rebranded as JMC Technical Sales, with a new logo and website. Established around 1975 in Cleveland, Ohio, Buckeye Valve provided valve repair and testing services to the region. As a Kunkle Safety Relief Valve assembler, Buckeye Valve was also ASME board certified to assemble, test and repair safety relief valves. Today, JMC Technical Sales continues to offer valve repair, is a Kunkle Safety Relief Valve assembler and is a manufacturer’s representative and distributor for products for the industrial and water and wastewater markets.
