Engineering firm hires new VP

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — The employee has more than 20 years of experience in several sectors.

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — Abtech Holdings Inc. announced that it hired Jeffrey L. Gutierrez as its new vice president of sales and business development, according to a press release.

Gutierrez has 20 years of experience in business development, sales and sales management for several industrial sectors, noted the release. He has been involved in the water industry since 2000.

Gutierrez’ previously worked with Evoqua Water Technologies’ Capital Projects Group as director of sales, North America, stated the release. He was responsible for developing wastewater treatment for industrial and municipal markets.

Before Evoqua, Gutierrez served as territory account manager for Caltrol Inc., reported the release. He has received several sales and engineering awards throughout his career.

Abtech will discuss its second quarter financial results in a conference call on Aug. 17, shared the release.
