Maturana named president of KSB

Pump maker taps former VP for top position

RICHMOND, Va. — Pump manufacturer KSB has announced the promotion of Luis Maturana to president of KSB Inc. beginning September 1.

Maturana joined KSB in 2018 and has served as vice president of the company's water and wastewater division. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in materials science engineering from Simón Bolívar University in Caracas, Venezuela.

Maturana previously served in multiple executive roles at ChemTreat and Veolia Water Technologies.

Former KSB president, Dr. Falk Schäfer, remains with the company. He will serve in general industry as vice president of applications at the global headquarters in Frankenthal, Germany.
