BASF, CCC announce new distribution partnership for Canada

BASF Canada and Canada Colors and Chemicals recently announced that they have officially entered into an exclusive agreement for the distribution of BASF's comprehensive Water Solutions portfolio throughout Canada.

FLORHAM PARK, NJ, and TORONTO, CANADA, Oct. 10, 2014 -- BASF Canada Inc. and Canada Colors and Chemicals Ltd. (CCC) have officially entered into an exclusive agreement for the distribution of BASF's comprehensive Water Solutions portfolio throughout Canada. The partnership was announced on Monday, Sept. 29, at WEFTEC 2014 in New Orleans, La.

The agreement became effective on Wednesday, Oct. 1, for Western Canada and the Maritime provinces. Further, CCC, one of the largest independent distributors in Canada, will become BASF's exclusive national distributor for all of the country on Jan. 1, 2015.

The BASF products included in the agreement are Zetag®, Magnafloc® LT, Burst®, Magnasol®, and Antiprex®. These products are used for applications such as water and wastewater treatment, industrial process water treatment and environmental remediation.
