MIOX Corporation and Veolia partnership announced

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The partnership will support cooling tower water treatment, wastewater reuse and other applications.

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.  — MIOX Corporation has entered into a distribution agreement with Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies for cooling tower water treatment, wastewater reuse, industrial water treatment and downstream oil and gas water applications, according to a press release.

MIOX Corporation is a provider of on-site chemical generation technology that has expanded in the areas of industrial cooling tower installation and technologies that support water management and recycling for industrial, oil and gas applications in the past 10 years, according to the release.

"MIOX technology brings a competitive edge to Veolia's portfolio by effectively removing biofilm, reducing chemical usage and reducing carbon footprint," said Nathalie Martin-Ionesco, global director of Hydrex, Veolia's water treatment chemicals range.

Veolia Water Solutions & Technologies specializes in technical solutions, designing and building projects for water and wastewater treatment in the industrial and municipal sectors, the release noted.
