New IDA Board of Directors to be installed Oct. 25

TOPSFIELD, Mass. — The board includes 21 members from five regions and 14 Affiliate representatives to-be-announced.

TOPSFIELD, Mass. — The International Desalination Association Board of Directors for 2013-2015 has been chosen, according to a press release.

The new Board of Directors will be installed on Oct. 25 at the 2013 IDA World Congress in Tianjin, China, the release reported.

The board will include five members from Europe, one from the Latin America/Caribbean region, seven from the Middle East, four from North America and four from Pacific Asia, continued the release, and one representative from each of the 14 IDA Affiliates will be included in the list at a later date.

The IDA is a non-profit association comprised of scientists, end-users, engineers, consultants and researchers from governments, corporations and academia in 60 countries, the release stated.
