Global Water Summit 2014 to focus on ‘Water for Growth’

OXFORD, U.K. — The summit will take place April 7-8 in Paris.

OXFORD, U.K. — The Global Water Summit 2014 will be held April 7-8 in Paris and will highlight the theme "Water for Growth," according to a press release.

The summit will be hosted by Global Water Intelligence (GWI) in conjunction with the International Desalination Association (IDA), the release reported.

According to the release, more than 500 senior water leaders are expected to attend the summit, where more than 100 speakers will lead sessions covering desalination, industry and emerging markets.

The keynote speaker will be Dr. David Kilcullen from Caerus Associations, a counter-insurgence expert with experience in issues of conflict, climate change, energy, health and governance; Kilcullen will speak on water security for our economies and cities, the release noted.
