NGWA 2013 Expo deemed a success

WESTERVILLE, Ohio — The event drew 3,680 attendees representing 33 countries.

WESTERVILLE, Ohio — The National Ground Water Association's (NGWA) 2013 Expo that took place Dec. 3-6 in Nashville, Tenn. drew strong attendance among visitors and exhibitors, according to a press release.

More than 3,680 people attended the NGWA Expo, represented all 50 states along with Washington, D.C. and Puerto Rico and 32 other nations, the release reported.

"The 2013 NGWA Groundwater Expo and Annual Meeting ranks fifth all-time among our non-Las Vegas venues in our 65-year history," said NGWA CEO Kevin McCray, CAE. "Fresh ideas promised a memorable experience and it looks like folks found that to be true. We hope all of our guests left happy and renewed, and ready for a new and prosperous year."

The NGWA Expo included over 60 hours of educational offerings, guest lectures, skills testing activities, NGWA award presentations and 300 exhibitors, the release noted.

According to the release, the 2014 NGWA Expo — The Complete Groundwater Event is scheduled for Dec. 9-12 in Las Vegas.
