FLORHAM PARK, N.J. — ASCO Numantics announced it has introduced a new mobile application for iPhone and Android devices, according to a press release.

By searching “ASCO Flow Calculator” in Google Play or the Apple App Store, users can download the new app for free, stated the release.

The release reported that the ASCO app, featuring the ASCO Flow Calculator, enables customers to determine the Cv needed to properly size a valve and to quickly calculate flow.

The app’s Flow Guide, continued the release, supplies reference information on available types of valves for most common noncorrosive and corrosive liquids and gases.

The Where to Buy Distributor locator allows customers to locate domestic and international ASCO distributors by searching by ZIP code, city/state or current GPS location, and the results of the locator provide users with the distributor’s email, fax, phone and website information when applicable, added the release.

The mobile app also features an interactive conversion tool to help users convert between imperial and metric values, including nine conversion calculators for weight, velocity, pressure, volume, energy, area, length, temperature and flow, noted the release.
